Q: Will your DVDs work in all players?

A: We have almost a 95% success rate on DVD players. We use only Verbatim discs which are the best on the market. If a DVD does not work in your DVD player, it is possible either the player lens is dirty or more common is that you DVD player does not support burned DVDs and is outdated. The best solution in this case is to update you DVD player.

Q: What brand of DVD home players do you suggest?

A: The funny thing about DVD players is that buying the most expensive DVD player does not mean it will be the most compatible. We tend to suggest the lower cost models like APEX and Light-On which tend to run $25-$40 at your nearest Wal-Mart or Best-Buy store. Moreover, as technology continues to improve so have DVD players. So chances are, if you have bought a DVD player in the last year that was not discontinued at time of purchase, it will work just fine.

Q: What is your turn around for 8mm & 16mm movie film orders?

A: Normally we can have a movie film order back to you in less than 6 weeks. During the holidays we can sometimes run as long as 8 weeks. We suggest if you need something by Christmas, for example, you bring you order to us as soon as possible as we do get extremely busy during certain times of the year. We do business, for the most part, on a first come first service basis.

Q: What is your normal turn around for your transfer services?

A: Usually we try to have all jobs (excluding film) returned in two weeks. However, if you have large amounts of transfers, your time may have to be adjusted. We do try to work with your schedule and will do our best to satisfy your needs if we can.

Keep in mind that transfers are done in real time, so a 2 hour VHS, for example, really does take 2 hours to transfer. Since we do have a large numbers of machines, many times larger jobs can be done a bit faster. However, if you give us 30 hours of video, please expect it to take 3-4 business days to transfer since we like to move as many jobs as possible on our machines rather than tie up multiple machines with one or two orders.
